A private golf course designed by Tom Fazio, was designed to allow the live oak trees and the beautiful marshlands of the lowcountry landscape to take center stage. The eighteenth hole, recognized as one of the most dramatic holes on the entire East Cost, is famous because it sits top of a very high bluff overlooking the slow moving waters of the Waccamaw River. In an area that boasts over 100 championship golf courses, Wachesaw Gold Club is regarded as on the best in Myrtle Beach.
Less than one mile from the gates of Wachesaw Plantation, the Wacca Wache Marina is a popular stopover point for weary Waterway travelers as well as a place for local boaters, fishermen and hunters to launch their craft. A fresh water marina, conveniently located at ICW Marker #57 on the Waccamaw River in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Wacca Wache Marina plays an important role in serving boaters' needs.
Located only 23 miles north of the historic town of Georgetown and 2 miles from the fishing village part of Murrells Inlet which is known for great shrimp, flounder, blue crabs , delicious oysters and wonderful grouper; Historic Charleston SC, only a 90 minute drive is close to Wachesaw Plantation.
