Family Fun, Making Memories

Just want to share a little about how wonderful grandchildren are...   My grandchildren, ages 1, 2, 3, and 4, just steal my heart every time I see them! They live in New York and in Chicago so when we all get together, it’s a real treat and priceless quality time.  Living near the beach is great for plenty of reasons, but for me one of the best perks are my family’s visits...the first thing the grandchildren want to do is build sand castles with Grandma Angie and play in the waves.  To see the world around us through children’s eyes at that age is so special.  Everything is just fun and games, running, laughing and big beautiful smiles.

The areas of Pawleys Island, Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach provide so much for families to enjoy together... We took them to the Family Kingdom amusement park, and got great pictures of them on the airplane, motorcycle, fire truck and train rides. They just looked so happy and full of life!  It’s the moments like these that take away all of the troubles in the world.

When we went to Murrells Inlet, they were all doing a Hula dance with this great act from Hawaii (which is free on Wednesday nights, at Spud’s gazebo bar). Watching the kid’s eyes and their excitement when the performers were dancing with and eating fire, was amazing!

I am truly blessed to live in such a great area that the family always wants to travel to!  If you haven’t been here yet, may I suggest you take a little trip and see for yourself why its called the Grand Strand!
